Paramus Firefighters Stop Brush Blaze From Reaching Home

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus firefighters quickly doused a brush fire Saturday afternoon before it could reach a single-family home and detached garage.

An outdoor fire pit apparently ignited the blaze in the 400 block of Gregory Road.

Paramus Engine Cos. #3 and #1 responded.
